We brought her home the first week of April. We tried to get one last shot of the siblings all together, but her sister Feather kept bailing out of the pen.
By late May she's had all her shots and she's out in the world meeting people. We got her together with our friends' dog tess, and they get along like littermates. Mary's started her obedience training, and she already walks on a leash like a perfect little lady (until you meet another dog, anyway). The right ear is almost erect. It pops right up there when you say the word "food," though!

Both ears finally popped up in June, and her first professional bath and grooming occurred, at the hands of Diane, the nice lady we got her from. Also in June Nikki got an ID number tattoed on her leg.

In July we traumatized the poor thing by getting her spayed. She hid under the table for 2 days, standing there, stoned out of her tiny little mind. And she continues to find interesting positions to sleep in.
Less exciting events in her life as time goes by. In August she got to stay with her "real" family for four days while we were on vacation. We only got one picture out of it since it was impossible to get her and her sister, Feather, to stand still for a portrait. (note also that white dogs don't photograph well with a disposable flash camera!)
